Microchanneling, the next generation of microneedling.

What is Microchanneling?

Microchanneling is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that boosts your skin’s natural production of collagen, elastin, and other essentials for healthy skin. By targeting the skin’s surface layers, it triggers the body’s repair process, promoting firmer, youthful skin with minimal recovery time. The procedure enhances collagen levels, resulting in thicker, smoother skin and improved texture.

It’s widely used to address acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks by breaking down damaged tissue and encouraging healthier skin growth. When paired with advanced growth factor serums, microchanneling accelerates healing and reduces future signs of aging.

The Process

The treatment follows three key steps:

1. Creating Micro-Channels – Precision micro-needles gently tap into the skin, forming thousands of uniform micro-channels in a single session.

2. Triggering Healing – Healthy tissue surrounding each micro-channel supports rapid recovery. Each tiny injury sparks an inflammatory response, stimulating new collagen production.

3. Skin Renewal – Repeated treatments build a stronger collagen network, improving skin health, texture, and overall appearance over time.

Who Can Benefit?

Microchanneling is safe for all skin types and ages, with no risk of hyperpigmentation, keloid scarring, or lasting side effects when performed correctly. It’s ideal for those looking to improve:

- Acne or surgical scars

- Fine lines and wrinkles

- Skin firmness and elasticity

- Sun spots and hyperpigmentation

- Large pores

- Rosacea

- Stretch marks or traumatic scars

- Hair regrowth

Microchanneling vs. Microneedling

Unlike traditional microneedling, which uses a roller with needles that can drag and tear the skin, microchanneling employs a linear stamping technique. This creates cleaner, more consistent channels, minimizing tissue damage, inflammation, and discomfort. Recovery is quick—typically 60-90 minutes of mild redness compared to days for microneedling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is it painful?

A: Most clients experience little to no discomfort, often without needing numbing cream. Post-treatment, you may feel a slight “tightness” in the skin, but there’s no lasting pain.

Q: What’s in the serum?

A: The ProCell Microchannel Delivery Serum contains bone marrow-derived growth factors suspended in hyaluronic acid. It’s free of human, animal, or plant cells, DNA, or blood, and has a decade-long record of safe use.

Q: Can I apply moisturizer if my skin feels irritated?

A: Mild irritation is normal, especially for sensitive skin. Wait at least 90 minutes post-treatment before applying moisturizer or other products. Avoid strong topicals for a few days until your skin normalizes.

Q: When will I see results?

A: Some notice smoother skin within 24 hours, but new collagen takes weeks to form. After 2-3 sessions, improvements become more consistent. For scarring, loose skin, or wrinkles, 6+ treatments may be advised.

Q: Are there any restrictions?

A: Avoid microchanneling if you have conditions like active cancer treatments, uncontrolled diabetes, recent Accutane use, bleeding disorders, or stainless steel allergies. It’s also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Q: Do I need the serums?

A: As we age, the body produces fewer growth factors, making serums increasingly important. Microchanneling alone helps, but ProCell’s aftercare serums—rich in peptides and growth factors—greatly enhance results, much like pairing exercise with a healthy diet.
